Some of the most meaningful work that we do happens far from the big stages. AEP has been present at science festivals, school esports leagues, neighbourhood community events, beach festivals, regional competitions, school career days and grassroots gaming gatherings — bringing sport psychology to the places where young people actually are.

We have also been part of events and initiatives aimed at children and young people with physical or mental functional limitations — using gaming as a tool for experiencing competence, belonging and the joy of play on equal terms with their peers. Gaming has a unique ability to level the playing field, and we believe every young person deserves access to that experience.

Whether we're running our Sport Psychology Booth, joining a panel, or simply having a conversation with a curious player or parent, our goal is always the same: to make sport psychology feel accessible, relevant and real — regardless of the setting.

Among the events and initiatives we've been part of: Vetenskapsfestivalen, Gymnasieligan, Level Up Lund, Gaming Generations, NLC, Hälsokampen Andersbergsfestivalen and Åhus Beach Festival.
